Thermal Power Plant Operator (5-shift)

In Steenderen, our CHP is indispensable. You and your colleagues ensure that our production departments and cold and freezing storage facilities keep running, even when the rest of the region is without power. You will join a small, close-knit team that pulls together. Together with other production teams, you will be part of our wonderful Steenderen Site. Our CHP and energy installations are full of challenging technology, from turbines to steam and from measurement and control technology to PLCs. With current environmental developments and the energy transition, this offers plenty of challenges for a technician like you. Does this give you energy?

• You contribute to the optimal operation and availability of the CHP.
• You independently analyze and resolve process disturbances and come up with (emergency) solutions.
• You perform daily inspections and record fuel consumption and environmental requirements.
• You work continuously on improvements using TPM methodologies.
• You maintain good contact with colleagues from the production departments.

• Mbo 4 working and thinking level and a completed technical education, preferably AOT or REWIC A.
• Strong analytical skills and an independent working attitude.
• Flexibility and a great sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and you are self-assured.
• Eagerness to learn and the will to develop yourself in technology, environment, and sustainability.
• Proficiency of the Dutch language in speech and writing.
