What we're looking for

HBO or WO degree, preferably in the field of data engineering
At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, ETL development, reporting, and testing
Knowledge of SQL, Teradata, Tableau, ETL tooling, and data modeling (including Star Schema, Data Vault)
Experience with Python and building professional ETL pipelines with automated testing
Experience with Snowflake and DBT is a plus; affinity with A.I. is a must

This position falls in scale 10, with a gross monthly salary between € 5,090.63 and € 6,787.51 (based on 36 hours per week). Furthermore, we offer:

The role

As a Data Engineer at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you are responsible for data-driven management of the mortgage portfolio and for converting complex data into actionable insights.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities:

You collect data from various sources and prepare it into usable datasets for the business
You standardize and uniformize working methods to minimize risks and safeguard quality standards
You develop sustainable ETL pipelines and ensure the visualization of data in reports and dashboards
You identify opportunities for improvement and convince the business lead to include them in the planning
You transfer knowledge to fellow data engineers and help the team grow by sharing your expertise
