• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance, or in an MRO environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of MRO materials, inventory management, and maintenance processes.
• Experience with CMMS, preferably SAP PM; basic knowledge of purchasing and logistical processes.
• You are structured, methodical, have strong analytical skills, and sharp insight into material needs.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and a strong communicator; a natural bridge builder between departments.
• You are cost-conscious, process-oriented, and have a pronounced focus on safety and quality in the production environment.
• You get enthusiastic from coordinating, preparing, and planning maintenance activities.

• Knowledge gained through formal education with limited experience and/or significant years of relevant work experience (5+ years) gained in the specific technical area combined with technical education.

• UK specific HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline with an indentured apprenticeship with individual merits. Arla Foods qualification to Engineering Technician level/NVQ Level 3, Eden Engineer.

We are looking for our new

Maintenance Planner & MRO Support - Nijkerk

You work at an industrial production site where maintenance, logistics, and production are closely intertwined. You work intensively in collaboration with technicians, the MRO coordinator, warehouse, purchasing, production, and production planning. You align material priorities, stock levels, and bottlenecks, and actively communicate with production and production planning to coordinate maintenance windows. SAP PM and Office 365 form your primary tools; you combine desk work (planning/data) with a presence on the shop floor.

You ensure tight planning, material availability, and optimal preparation. As a central figure in the web, you minimize waiting times, ensure first-time-right execution, and make our maintenance processes safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective. You report in a clear manner to the Maintenance Planning & Maintenance Team Leader. Additionally, you are the first point of contact for appointments with service and maintenance suppliers.

• You prepare preventive and corrective maintenance (scope, task sequence, time estimation, work permits, LOTO). You optimize work orders and maintenance instructions and coordinate maintenance with technicians, production, and planning.
• You coordinate external service suppliers regarding the annual maintenance plan.
• You determine, reserve, and check required MRO materials and spare parts. You align priorities with the warehouse and purchasing, assess alternatives, and ensure availability for (un)planned work.
• You ensure that work orders are complete and correct in SAP PM, keep master data (parts, BOMs, delivery times, prices) up-to-date, and improve data quality.
• You ensure that materials and activities comply with VCA, work permit procedures, and LOTO. Additionally, you identify and manage risks at an early stage.
• You standardize maintenance processes and MRO workflows. You analyze failure and material data to optimize preventive measures, parts availability, and inventory management.
