As a Merchandising & Sourcing intern, you are responsible from scratch for implementing new products on our shelves. Thus, you help in the process of coming up with new innovations, testing new products, improving the quality of our private label products, and you are responsible for contact with suppliers during these processes. The fun thing about the category is that you deal with a wide range of product groups such as soups, snack sauces, olive oils, and instant noodles!

Your new job and workplace.
As an intern, you make a direct contribution to improving the assortment; an innovative and creative mindset is important. You don't do this alone, but together with your colleagues from the team. You support your colleagues with daily activities, where you will work on:

• Co-developing & implementing new products.
• Maintaining contact with suppliers.
• Market scans for new product opportunities.
• Drafting briefings for the design team.
• Improving the quality of private label products.

In this position, you work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Zaandam and partly from home.
