Your new job and workplace.
In our young and dynamic team, you will help as an intern to achieve the best results for Etos every week. You will do this by using your commercial insight to prepare the best promotions and by creating and executing media plans for suppliers such as L'Oréal, Unilever, or NAÏF that give these promotions visibility. The goal is to create promotions and media plans that benefit both the supplier and Etos. We do this by selecting the best promotions together with our Category managers and suppliers and showing Etos products to the right target audience, via the best medium, at the right time. Online with social, display, video, on-site, and offline in our folder, the stores, and radio.

That is the mission of Etos. We have been your trusted drugstore for more than a hundred years. In the store and online. With over 550 branches throughout the Netherlands, there is always an Etos drugstore near you. As a reliable drugstore and the largest digital health platform in the Netherlands, we are there for our customers with advice, service, and products. Weekly, we help more than 1 million customers in our stores and on etos.nl, and on an annual basis, we provide more than 30 million pieces of advice on health, appearance, balance, movement, and nutrition. Whatever your question is, we will help you further.

In addition, you will work on:

• Learning what commercially powerful promotions are by preparing the promotion package per campaign period.
• Determining which offers the Etos customer turns to.
• Writing an action plan with which you inform the stores per campaign period which promotion belongs where in the store.
• Identifying which media campaigns suppliers prefer to deploy and how effective these are.
• Coordinating (online) media plans from concept to go-live.
• Making evaluations of promotions and campaigns and extracting insights from them.
• Taking on new projects within the department. This includes updating the Etos website for suppliers.
• Collaborating with many different colleagues.

Afterwards, you will evaluate the promotions: was the target met? And if not, why not? You will also evaluate the online campaigns: did we achieve the impressions? And what was the click-through rate? No idea what these terms mean? We will teach you all of that. Within the omnichannel promotions team, you are also in the right place if you want to see as much of an organization as possible during your internship. This is because you work together with, among others: design, online marketing, social, webshop, in-store & folder marketing, data, category managers, and logistics. Fun, educational, and good for your network.

In this position, you work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Zaandam and partly from home.

• Are you currently pursuing a degree at HBO/WO level, preferably in the field of Commercial Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Business, or Communication.
