What you'll get

We offer you a great internship. The Onboarding Program ensures that, as a new intern, you quickly feel like part of the team. There is plenty of room to learn and grow. In both environments, you can gain a wealth of experience. Naturally, this is under the guidance of your internship supervisor and close colleagues.

During your internship, it is not only about gaining substantive knowledge and practical experience, but you also actively work on your professional development and expanding your network. CASt, the Club ABN AMRO Interns, organizes both formal and informal events. Additionally, CASt organizes monthly Go & See's to get acquainted with different departments within ABN AMRO, so you get to know the bank even better. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your hard skills through the ABN AMRO Academy by means of challenging e-learnings. The internship allowance for an HBO or WO internship is €750 per month (based on a 36-hour work week).

The role

Are you an entrepreneurial, independent, and result-oriented student with an interest in the world of private banking? Do you want to work on projects with impact? Then start as an intern at ABN AMRO MeesPierson and support the Acquisition team in everything they do. By contributing to the commercial results of ABN AMRO MeesPierson, you place your personal development at the center.

What you'll do

Together with the Acquisition team, you will focus on the external acquisition for the entire Private Bank in the Netherlands. Together with your colleagues, you will start the week with a morning meeting via Teams. A healthy balance between working from home and physical presence. Feel welcome at our dynamic and unique office.

Your schedule will guide you further through the day; you help the Acquisition team by enriching signals and recognizing potentially interesting clients. In doing so, you are actively engaged in recognizing opportunities in the market and connecting potential prospects with the right colleagues in the network. Through your sharp eye for commercial opportunities, you make an important contribution to the growth of the bank. At the same time, you work on improving your commercial skills, for example, by listening in on conversations or by preparing and analyzing data yourself.

Additionally, you are involved in the setup and execution of project-based acquisition initiatives. Internally, you make the connection with the right stakeholders to get to know the bank better. You will also get time to expand your network by joining various meetings and having informal coffee chats with colleagues from other departments. In short, a varied day in which you are active both strategically and commercially, with room to learn, collaborate, and further develop yourself.

Who are you?

Are you analytical, proactive, eager to learn, and can you empathize with clients and prospects? Can you also work in a structured, independent, and practical manner? And finally, do you have intrinsic motivation? Then we are looking for you! Furthermore:

  • Do you have excellent command of the Dutch language;
  • You are looking for an internship starting from February 2027 for at least 20 weeks;
  • You are available at least 4 days per week.

Are you enthusiastic?

We need new people who can make a difference. People like you. Because there is still a world to win.
