• You lead a team of approximately 15 to 20 laboratory analysts.
• You coach, guide, and develop employees in their professional and personal growth.
• You conduct performance, appraisal, and development meetings.
• You create a work environment in which safety, quality, collaboration, and ownership are central.
• You stimulate knowledge development and professional competence within the team.
• You ensure optimal staffing within the shift service.
• You guide organizational changes and improvement initiatives.

• You are responsible for the daily operational activities of the laboratory.
• You monitor planning, capacity, lead times, and priorities.
• You ensure an efficient division of work within the team.
• You follow up on deviations, CAPAs, and quality issues.
• You guide laboratory investigations into out-of-specification (OOS) results.
• You are a technical sparring partner for analysts regarding complex issues.
• You guarantee timely and reliable reporting of analysis results.

• You ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and laws and regulations.
• You oversee compliance with ISO 17025 and other relevant quality systems.
• You support internal and external audits.
• You safeguard correct documentation, data integrity, and traceability of laboratory activities.
• You identify and implement improvements within quality processes.

• You work intensively with Production, QA, QC, Planning, and other supporting departments.
• You are the point of contact for internal customers and stakeholders.
• You maintain contacts with external laboratories and suppliers.
• You coordinate analyses, capacity, and priorities with internal and external partners.
• You work closely with the other Team Lead within the department.

• You initiate and realize improvements in the areas of quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• You stimulate a proactive improvement culture within the team.
• You identify risks and opportunities within laboratory processes.
• You actively contribute to business continuity and capacity management.
• You support the implementation of new equipment, analytical methods, and processes.

• You have a completed HBO or WO degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, Food Technology, or a similar field.
• You have demonstrable leadership experience within a laboratory, quality, or production environment.
• You have experience in managing, coaching, and developing employees.
• Preferably, you have worked yourself within an analytical laboratory.
• You possess knowledge of laboratory processes, laboratory equipment, and analytical techniques.
• You have experience with laboratory investigations and quality processes.
• You have knowledge of ISO 17025 and relevant quality systems.
• You are experienced in stakeholder management within a complex organization.
• You communicate easily in both Dutch and English.

• You are a coaching leader who knows how to motivate and develop employees.
• You are visibly present on the work floor and understand the daily practice of an analytical laboratory.
• You know how to set priorities and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment.
• You possess strong communication skills and know how to connect people.
• You are analytically strong and know how to translate complex issues into practical solutions.
• You take ownership and stimulate continuous improvement.
• You easily build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
