Abbott Biologicals Olst is globally responsible for the filling of lactulose, the production of hormone preparations, and the formulation of Mebeverine. Additionally, the influenza vaccine Influvac® is filled at this site and contract manufacturing takes place. For these products, Abbott Biologicals in Olst serves as the center of excellence. For the Quality department, we are looking for a:

Quality Assurance Officer

The main goal of the Quality Assurance department is to safeguard the quality of our products and ensure that we comply with all laws and regulations. The QA department is divided into several departments. The Quality Assurance Operations (QAO) team has the main tasks of batch release and quality oversight for the entire site.

As a QA Officer, in accordance with all internal and external EHS&E and GxP regulations, you are responsible for the handling of batch records, documentation, and/or complaints based on pre-specified procedures. Additionally, support is provided to the department during various processes.

You will work in a team of QA Officers and report to the QA Team Lead. You will have a lot of interaction with your colleagues working in various departments, such as production and supply chain.

What will you do as a QA officer?

- Monitoring the guidelines regarding the quality of our products;

- Independently, accurately, and timely collecting data and documentation for batch release;

- Independently, accurately, and timely performing batch record review;

- Releasing materials and batches and/or adjusting and/or reviewing data in Saphega;

- Communicating with internal and external contacts;
