The role
Are you someone who loves oversight, switches gears quickly, and gets energy from a dynamic warehouse environment? Do you enjoy being literally and figuratively positioned between operations and transport? Then this role as Dispatcher Warehouse at Abbott in Zwolle is for you. What makes this position extra interesting: you work alternatingly at two locations - Rieteweg and Hessenpoort - meaning no two days are the same.
What you'll do
As Dispatcher Warehouse, you are the pivot in the logistical process. You ensure that flows of goods run smoothly, safely, and according to schedule. You are the first point of contact for warehouse teams, carriers, and visitors, and you maintain oversight, even during busy moments.
- Coordinating and receiving incoming and outgoing transport
- Coordinating with drivers, planners, and warehouse supervisors
- Monitoring priorities and delivery times
- Processing and checking logistical administration in the system
- Identifying and resolving disruptions in operations
- Thinking along about improvements in work processes and logistical flows
As a Dispatcher, you will work at two Abbott locations in Zwolle:
- Rieteweg
- Hessenpoort
How you'll work
This position is in a 2-shift service, our working hours are:
2 weeks 07:00 - 15:30 h
1 week 14:30 - 23:00 h
This alternation provides more variety in your work, insight into different logistical processes, and closer cooperation with multiple teams. These two locations are only 10 minutes apart, so you won't have a long travel time!
