Abbott is an international company with various business sectors. Abbott Weesp is an important Abbott site of the Established Pharmaceuticals Division.

In the modern production facilities, qualified employees produce medicines such as laxatives, hormones, and the flu vaccine on a daily basis. The Quality Control (QC) department verifies whether the production process, from incoming goods to active pharmaceutical ingredients, meets the requirements set for them. Additionally, QC verifies whether the production areas meet the requirements. The QC lab is divided into 4 teams: 2 biochemical, 1 chemical, and 1 microbiological team.

As a QC Officer, you are the indispensable link that ensures everything is in order from reagents to glassware - so that our analysts can focus fully on their analyses.

In this role, you will support our laboratories by managing inventories, performing lab tasks, and ensuring a safe and organized working environment according to GMP and 6S principles.

• Receiving and checking goods such as samples, reagents, disposables, and microbiological media.
• Replenishing laboratories and performing 6S and GHK actions.
• Preparing reagents according to established procedures.
• Cleaning and maintaining laboratory glassware.
• Warehouse management:
• Checking the Kanban system.
• Following up on and booking in orders.
• Contact with purchasing and laboratories in case of delivery problems.

• Completed MLO education (level 3).
• Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of GMP and quality processes.
• Good communication skills in Dutch.
• Proactive and flexible attitude.
• Full-time availability (40 hours).
