Audit Director in Amersfoort

• Salary: between € 7,898 and € 13,164 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience.

Leading the audit team, building a strong client portfolio, and contributing to the growth of our audit practice. That is what you will do as Audit Director at aaff in Nijkerk. In this role, you hold ultimate responsibility for the management of the office and work across the office to collaborate for continuous improvement. In doing so, you initiate changes and ensure that improvements, such as the application of AI, are actually implemented.

You manage various audit teams and hold ultimate responsibility for statutory audits of (medium) sized enterprises. You lead teams in the planning, execution, and completion of work. Additionally, you guide colleagues in their personal development. For clients, you are a reliable point of contact. Through direct contact, you build and maintain client relationships.

In addition, you actively mobilize your network in your region to contribute to the organizational objectives in this way too, including the acquisition of clients. With this, you work together with the other directors and team members to build the growth of audit in the center of the Netherlands, from Nijkerk/Amersfoort. Alongside the focus on clients, recruitment and retention of employees is important, whereby training colleagues is part of it. As the person ultimately responsible for files, you communicate what the quality standard for the files should be and guide colleagues in this.

• You build the client portfolio and utilize your commercial skills.

• You are the accountant with ultimate responsibility during (statutory) audits.

• Across the office, you ensure good cooperation, including with fellow directors.

• From your responsibility for the teams, you give employees space and opportunities to develop. Continuous improvement and the use of AI are central to this. You also contribute to the right team spirit.

• You keep your professional technical knowledge up to date and share knowledge through internal or external presentations and learning on the job.

The offices in Nijkerk/Amersfoort and Nijmegen together form one audit region. A total of 25 colleagues work here. As director, you will be given the space to further build the team and the collaboration. You bring people together, have an eye for what colleagues need, and provide direction to the further development of the team and the working atmosphere.
