Senior Forensic in the Audit

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accountancy and/or forensic work experience, including demonstrable experience with project management.
• Demonstrable affinity with integrity and forensic issues.
• An inquisitive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, being strong both orally and in writing in the Dutch and English languages.
• You are analytically strong, can apply stylistic flexibility, and are a team player with a critical, professional attitude.
  
  

• A completed Master's degree in Accountancy or another relevant financial and/or forensic-related field of study.

Your new job | About your key responsibilities
As a Senior within the Forensic in the Audit team of Forensic & Integrity Services, you are a crucial fraud specialist responsible for executing forensic issues within the statutory audit. You support EY Assurance Audit teams in identifying and following up on potential fraud and non-compliance risks. You work together with a multidisciplinary team and coordinate forensic assignments, ensuring efficient execution and monitoring quality and deadlines.

Additionally, you are involved in audit work upon signs of fraud and support teams with incident management, corruption, and non-compliance. You develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and maintain in-depth forensic knowledge to effectively handle complex issues. Through your expertise and experience, you challenge both EY Assurance Audit teams and clients during the statutory audit.

Forensic & Integrity Services is a fast-growing department within our organization. Our Forensic & Integrity Services professionals focus on advisory in the field of compliance and integrity issues, as well as investigations into integrity breaches. Our professionals help organizations, for example, with investigations into procurement fraud, analysis in a business dispute, investigations after bankruptcy, or the preparation of legal proceedings. Additionally, our team supports EY's Audit teams with work regarding fraud, corruption, money laundering, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Our office in Amsterdam is located at the Zuidas: a vibrant place where many companies are established. In our Cross Towers, no fewer than 1500 people are welcomed upon entry every day.
