Assistant Accountant SME in the Netherlands

• Salary: up to € 4,460 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience.

• Freedom of choice in leave: you determine how many days off you take, up to 38 per year. Choose from regular leave, the aaff budget, or extra days via your salary. Anything you do not use from the aaff budget, we will pay out.

• Home office budget of € 550: to set up your home workplace comfortably and ergonomically.

For this assistant accountant vacancy, we are looking for someone who will make the difference for our clients within aaff. As an assistant accountant at aaff, you are responsible for maintaining client administrations and preparing annual accounts. You will receive a lot of responsibility and freedom, and you will also visit clients. Many of our clients are located in the transport, trade, e-commerce, industry, hospitality, or construction sectors.

An important aspect of the position is providing insight into interim results and advising on various administrative and financial issues for clients. You have a proactive role in advising your clients, whereby you support them in their business operations and help in making important financial choices.

Have you completed training to become an assistant accountant? Then this position aligns perfectly with that. • Preparing tax returns, annual accounts, and interim figures; advising on administrative issues.

• Providing insight into interim results and advising on clients' administrative and financial issues.

• Reviewing, preparing, and discussing reports with senior colleagues and the client.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement within administrative and automation processes.
