Procurement Advisor

• Salary: between € 3,615 and € 6,025 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience.

• Freedom of choice in leave: you determine how many days off you take, up to 38 per year. Choose from regular leave, the aaff budget, or extra days via your salary. Anything you do not use from the aaff budget, we will pay out.

Do you ensure that our procurement is well-organized and contract performance is optimal? At aaff in Wageningen, you will guide various procurement processes, especially in the field of IT. You will analyze data, identify risks, and coordinate with stakeholders. In this way, you actively contribute to the professionalization of the procurement department within our organization.

Your focus lies on executing and guiding procurement processes. In doing so, you apply procurement policies and frameworks, aiming for an optimal price-quality ratio and careful contract formation and documentation. The processes you work on vary in complexity, from standard procurement to strategic. Because IT procurement forms a substantial part of the total spend, you will deal with software, licenses, and SaaS solutions, among other things.

Additionally, you proactively manage contract performance. Through analyses and signals from AFAS, you monitor performance, identify deviations, and bring risks and optimization opportunities into view. You support contract managers and assist with supplier reviews and evaluations. At aaff, contract management is a joint responsibility of Procurement and the business, whereby the latter remains responsible for the content and performance of contracts. From your role in Procurement, you commit yourself to process quality, compliance, and cohesion in procurement and contract management processes.

Part of your activities is operational. You handle procurement requests via Topdesk, manage contract registration in AFAS, and help ensure that purchases comply with policy and laws and regulations. Do you see deviations? Then you identify and escalate them in a timely manner.

• Executing and guiding (complex) procurement processes.

• Independently conducts negotiations with suppliers.

• Managing contract performance using analyses and signals from AFAS.

• Performing spend and contract analyses, identifying savings and optimization opportunities, initiating improvements, and contributing to category and sourcing strategies.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, for example from the Legal and Sustainability departments. You advise them and challenge them to look critically at the content and the process. You also create support for procurement and contract agreements.
