Requirements

What we're looking for

  • You have built something with AI agents that others use.
  • Coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor are part of your way of working.
  • You can translate user needs into concrete specifications and testable agreements.
  • You understand the business rules, data flows, and access rights of what you build.
  • You can read and investigate generated code sufficiently to recognize errors and ask for targeted help.
  • You have an eye for ease of use and listen well to feedback.
  • You can explain how your application works without the user needing technical knowledge.

The role

A product portal where colleagues can check and supplement information. An employee portal that brings separate tasks together. An internal tool that makes recurring daily work easier.

As an AI Product Builder at Omoda Brands, you build these applications using AI agents as your primary tools. You work closely with the business and translate concrete user needs into software that works well and is pleasant to use.

What an AI Product Builder at our company is
For you, AI is part of the way you build. You specify what the application must do, have coding agents build and test it, and assess the result.

The software you create does not necessarily have to contain AI itself. It could also be a portal, form, or workflow that provides colleagues with overview and saves manual labor.

You understand the work you are building for. You make business rules and exceptions explicit and can assess whether the application is correct in practice. You do not need to be a traditional software engineer, but you have sufficient technical insight to build responsibly and recognize when you need help.

What you'll do

What you do

  • You build internal applications with coding agents, such as a product portal or employee portal.
  • You develop a concrete user request into clear screens, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • You have agents create code and tests, investigate errors, and assess the functionality.
  • You test with the colleagues who will use the application and process their feedback.
  • You further develop existing prototypes into applications that a department can continue to use.
  • You work within agreed development standards and have your work reviewed appropriately.
  • You ensure understandable explanations and clear agreements regarding management.
  • You work in short cycles and regularly show a working version.

For complex integrations or production-critical components, you work together with engineers. You remain involved in the user experience and the functional operation of the application.

Functie-eisen

  • A good command of the Dutch language is required for this position.

Your background may be in product management, business analysis, operations, or software development. Demonstrable own work, judgment, and a sense for the user carry more weight than years of experience as a developer.

Aanvullende informatie

About Omoda Brands
Omoda Brands is the house behind Assem, Omoda, Wehkamp, and Kleertjes.com. Four brands, over 2,000 colleagues, and more than 3 million customers per year. Our ambition is to be the most personal boutique at scale. To achieve this, the tools behind the scenes must also work well: from product information and campaigns to planning and service. We already use AI for styling advice, product images, and customer questions. Additionally, colleagues build tools themselves for their daily work. You help advance such applications and build new products for the business.

What you will find with us

  • Flexible working from Zierikzee, Amsterdam, or Zwolle. On average, we meet 1 to 2 days per week at one of these locations.
  • 32–38 hours per week, depending on your preference.
  • A suitable salary based on your knowledge, experience, and the value you bring.
  • Direct contact with the colleagues you build for.
  • Room to create and improve fast-working software.
  • AI Specialists and engineers you can collaborate with.
  • Four brands where useful applications can be deployed more broadly.
  • A role in which practical building ability and business insight come together.

Interested?
Show us what you have built with AI agents and how you went from a user request to a working application. What was your own contribution, how did you direct the agents, and how did you check the result? Also tell us what you adjusted after others used the application.

How you share this is up to you: a short description, link, screenshots, or a demo. A concise example is sufficient for your application; in the interview, we will go deeper into it together. You do not need to share confidential code or company information.
