What we're looking for
- You have experience training, coaching, or guiding colleagues in their work, for example as a trainer, quality coach, advisor, or team lead.
- You use AI yourself daily and can concretely demonstrate all that is possible.
- You can explain without jargon and connect with people who have no technical background and sometimes no interest in it either.
- You can analyze a work process and see where a step is redundant or automatable.
- You know how to take resistance seriously, but your enthusiasm for AI is infectious and helps others to start using it themselves.
- You work independently, actively seek out colleagues, and do not wait until someone asks a question.
- You can convert your findings into materials, agreements, or improvements that continue to work even without you.
Nice to have
Experience with change processes or the adoption of new systems is a plus. A technical or AI background is not a requirement: the ability to get people on board carries more weight. Programming is not required.
Languages
- Good command of the Dutch language is required for this position.

The role
As an AI Coach at Omoda Brands, you ensure that AI lands in the daily work of over 2,000 colleagues. You train, guide, and help build a way of working in which AI is second nature.
The tools are there; the difference is made by how people deploy them and how well they know how to work with them.
What an AI Coach with us is
You work on the floor, not from a training program. You sit down next to a colleague, look at what they do in a day, and show where AI takes over that work or makes it better.
You don't need to know every model, but you use AI yourself daily and can explain what it can and cannot do. You drive for usage, not for participation.
A full training session means nothing; a team that is still working differently three weeks later does. Where you encounter resistance, you take it seriously: often there is a real objection underneath.
What you'll do
What you do
- You train and guide colleagues in the use of AI in their own work, individually, in teams, and on location.
- You develop training materials, work examples, and prompt libraries that connect to the colleague's profession, not to AI in general.
- You guide the implementation of new tools and ways of working and ensure that people actually make the transition.
- You measure adoption and quality of use, and investigate where progress stalls.
- You explain what is and is not allowed with company and customer data, so that people can work safely without becoming paralyzed.
- You find out what colleagues are running into and bring that back to the AI team as a concrete improvement or new opportunity.
- You build a network of ambassadors within the teams, so that knowledge does not only flow through you.
You work across Assem, Omoda, Wehkamp, and Kleertjes.com, from office to distribution center to store.
When your work is successful
More colleagues use AI, more often and better. Not because they have to, but because it makes their day easier. You therefore track both the number of active users and what they do with it: which tasks have shifted, how much time it saves, and what has improved qualitatively. You also investigate where licenses remain unused and why.
How you'll work
- Flexible working from Zierikzee, Amsterdam, or Zwolle. We meet on average 1 to 2 days per week at one of these locations.
- 32–38 hours per week, depending on your preference.

You are part of the AI team and work daily with colleagues from all four brands, together with HR, IT, and the team leads of the departments where you are active. You bring the craftsmanship in guidance and adoption. AI Specialists help you with the substantive depth in a specific field. When a bottleneck requires software, you bring it to AI Product Builders and AI Engineers.
