As an AI Engineer at Omoda Brands, you build the AI functionality that makes this possible. You ensure that it performs reliably in production what it is supposed to do.

What an AI Engineer at our company is
Your expertise lies in the AI within the application. You choose and combine existing models and build the retrieval, context, tool use, and controls around them.

You understand how those choices impact quality, speed, reliability, and cost. You primarily develop with existing language and vision models. Where targeted fine-tuning adds value, you collaborate with the data team.

You work on customer-facing applications, such as our AI Stylist, and on AI that supports internal processes or performs tasks.

What you do

• You build AI functionality that understands information, generates answers or content, and performs controlled actions.
• You combine models, business data, retrieval, and tools into working applications.
• You develop, deploy, and manage the services and APIs behind those applications.
• You set up evaluations and treat prompts and configurations as versioned, tested components.
• You build in logging, monitoring, error handling, and fallback options from the start.
• You ensure clear boundaries on what an application may do autonomously and when human review is required.
• You monitor and improve quality, reliability, speed, and cost in production.
• You contribute to shared AI facilities that the team can reuse.

• Good command of the Dutch language is required for this position.

You do not need to know every model or framework. We find strong software engineering, production experience, and the ability to grasp new technology to be more important.
