The role

As a Fashion Buying intern at Wehkamp Retail Group, you will step into the dynamic world of fashion and commerce. You will be part of one of our buying teams and participate fully in the process — from assembling an inspiring and trend-oriented assortment to the moment our customers discover the latest collections online.

During your internship, you will not only learn the ins and outs of the buying profession, but you will also get a behind-the-scenes look at other departments within our company. This way, you will see firsthand how fashion, data, and strategy come together to create a strong fashion proposition.

In short: an internship in which you combine your passion for fashion with commercial insights and get the chance to make a real impact within one of our departments.

What you'll do

You will support the assistant buyers with various tasks, such as:

Creating inspiring content focused on fashion and trends;
Onboarding orders and monitoring progress;
Preparing marketing activities for your category, aligned with the latest trends;
Analyzing supplier performance based on sales, returns, and reviews — so that together we can buy even smarter.

Functie-eisen

You are following a fashion or fashion-related mbo or hbo education and cannot wait to put your knowledge into practice. You recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

Commercial – you have an eye for opportunities and trends;
Analytical – you derive insights from figures and data;
Result-oriented – you always aim for the best result;
Proactive – you don't wait around, but you just take action.

From February 2027, you are available for an internship of at least 20 weeks and are ready to make a flying start within the world of fashion buying at Wehkamp Retail Group.
