Education & certifications

A degree such as Commercial Economics, (Technical) Business Administration, or a comparable HBO (higher professional education) program aligns well with this.

The role

As a Commercial Strategy intern, you will immerse yourself in the industrial energy market. You will investigate which energy issues are at play within large industrial companies, how decision-making works there, and where the strongest points of connection lie for Omexom. Based on this, you will develop a concrete market approach advice for the North-East Netherlands region. You will look critically at opportunities: where do our expertise and proposition align best, and how do we translate that into a sharp commercial approach?

What you'll do

Specifically, you will work on:

Mapping energy issues and decision-making moments at industrial players
Analyzing the strongest points of connection between our proposition and the market
Conducting substantive discussions with companies and colleagues
Translating your findings into practical market approach advice
