We are looking for a Project Manager for the successful management of complex and challenging soil remediation projects. Are you an experienced project manager and do you want to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable world at an international player? Then read on.

In the role of Project Manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for large and medium-sized projects from A to Z. You direct the various disciplines involved in successful soil projects, with an emphasis on soil flows, subcontractor management, contract management (RAW/UAV-GC), and financial control. The complexity of these projects lies in the various technical disciplines that are part of each project, in combination with the contractual disciplines required by your clients, consisting of government agencies and the business community. The projects fluctuate between €0.3m and €10m in turnover, and depending on the content, can last a year. 

You are a coach and developer of the internal organization. You coach your junior colleagues and contribute to organizational structure, sound work processes, and good documentation. Your clients describe you as someone who communicates clearly and sets good expectations. Additionally, you are a partner to your clients and think along with them as a partner.

What makes this position unique is that your mission is to make the local impact as large as possible, by leaning on Veolia's international network in Europe. You understand the impact of margin drivers and how you can influence and increase them to contribute to strengthening Veolia's position in the Netherlands.

You are an experienced project manager and like to use your competencies to make the Netherlands more sustainable. 

• HBO thinking and working level, preferably in the direction of (environmental) technology, civil engineering, civil engineering, or (technical) business administration;
• At least 5 years of experience as a project leader or manager within civil engineering;
• Experience in soil, road, and hydraulic engineering is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience in working with UAV-GC 2005 is a plus;
• Excellent communicative, coaching, and leadership skills.
