The role

Do you enjoy working with electrical engineering and do you get energy from everything being well-organized? As an Electrical Engineering Work Preparer at HulstFlier, you ensure that our utility projects are technically and organizationally well-prepared.

You work on diverse projects in the utility sector. From new construction and renovation to the modification and sustainability improvement of existing installations. No project is the same, and it is precisely that variety that makes your work interesting.

What you'll do

As an Electrical Engineering Work Preparer, you are an important link between engineering, project management, and execution. You ensure that the right information, materials, and planning are available at the right time.

Your duties include

preparing and organizing electrical engineering utility projects
assessing drawings, technical data, and project documentation
ordering and monitoring materials and equipment
supporting the creation and monitoring of the project planning
coordinating with project leaders, engineers, technicians, and suppliers
identifying and resolving technical and organizational bottlenecks
processing and maintaining changes and project documentation
ensuring a good handover to the execution phase

You think ahead, maintain an overview, and ensure that your colleagues in execution can get to work well-prepared.

What do you bring?

You feel at home in a role where electrical engineering, organization, and collaboration come together.

In addition, you bring:

a technical education in electrical engineering or installation technology
experience as a work preparer or in a similar electrical engineering role
knowledge of electrical engineering installations
the ability to read and assess technical drawings and project information
technical and organizational insight
a structured and accurate way of working

You take responsibility, think ahead, and identify bottlenecks in time. You don't need to know everything yet. More important to us is that you have a good technical foundation and want to develop yourself further.
