Technical Administrator Fire Alarm Systems

At SMIT Elektrotechniek, you will work with approximately 135 colleagues on multidisciplinary projects in electrical engineering and security technology. We realize new construction projects in residential housing in the Randstad and work for housing corporations and healthcare institutions.

You will join an organization with extensive expertise, short lines of communication, and colleagues who help each other progress. At SMIT, you will be given the space to work independently and to further develop yourself within fire alarm technology.

In addition, we work with many apprentices and young professionals. Experienced colleagues pass on their knowledge, while new ideas and techniques keep us sharp. This way, we learn from each other every day and continue to develop our craft.

SMIT is a real Volendam company. You can sense this in the down-to-earth way of collaborating, the short lines of communication, and colleagues who are there for one another. You won't be working in a large, anonymous organization with us. You know the people you work with and can easily drop by each other's desks if you want to brainstorm about something.

You will work from Volendam, but your work takes place at client sites in the region and on various projects. This gives you the benefits of a permanent, committed organization as well as variety in your work.

We believe passing on knowledge is important. That is why at SMIT, we work with many apprentices and young professionals. Experienced colleagues help them grow in the trade. At the same time, new ideas and techniques keep us sharp. This is how we ensure together that good technical craftsmanship is preserved and continues to develop.

SMIT is part of VDK Groep. This allows you to combine the personal atmosphere and freedom of SMIT with the benefits of a larger organization, such as training opportunities, a stable foundation, and extra employment benefits.
