Do you have a technical mindset, do you enjoy working accurately, and do you want to develop yourself within mechanical engineering installation technology? Whether you have just completed your MBO education or already have some experience with technical drawing: at Heluto Installatietechniek in Diever, you will get the chance to learn the trade in practice.

As a Junior Mechanical Engineering Technical Drafter, you will work on the design and development of technical installations for diverse projects in commercial buildings and luxury residential construction. Think of heating installations, cooling systems, and ventilation installations.

You translate technical designs into clear and executable drawings that your colleagues on the construction site can use. In doing so, you will learn more and more about the technology behind the installations and contribute ideas for smart solutions.

You won't be alone. Experienced colleagues will guide you, share their knowledge, and give you the space to work increasingly independently.

As a Junior Mechanical Engineering Technical Drafter, you support the design and technical development of mechanical engineering installations. You work closely with engineers, work preparers, and installers to ensure that projects can be well-prepared and executed.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Creating and developing technical drawings for heating, cooling, and ventilation installations.

• Translating sketch designs into clear and executable installation and working drawings.

• Performing technical calculations under guidance for, among other things, air ducts, heating pipes, water pipes, and drainage systems.

• Identifying technical bottlenecks and contributing ideas for practical solutions.

• Preparing material lists and supporting the requesting of quotes from suppliers.

• Processing changes in technical drawings and maintaining revision drawings.

• Collaborating with engineers, work preparers, and installers to technically prepare projects.

You will be given the time and guidance to increasingly master the trade. As you gain more experience, you will receive more independence and responsibility.

We are primarily looking for someone with technical insight, an eager-to-learn attitude, and an interest in mechanical engineering installations. You work accurately, enjoy contributing ideas, and like working together with colleagues on technical solutions.

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have completed an MBO level 4 education in Installation Technology or Mechanical Engineering, or are in the final phase of your education.

• You have some knowledge of or affinity with Autodesk technical drawing programs.

• You have an interest in mechanical engineering installations, such as heating, cooling, and ventilation.

• You work accurately and enjoy solving technical problems.

• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working together with colleagues.

• You are curious, take initiative, and want to continue developing yourself.
