Electrical Engineering Project Leader in Amsterdam

What makes this position special? You work on larger and more complex utility projects within new construction, renovation, and maintenance. Think of schools, hotels, offices, distribution centers, and projects at Schiphol. The projects typically range up to approximately € 1.5 million.

As Electrical Engineering Project Leader, you are responsible for supervising utility projects from request to delivery. You communicate daily with customers, technicians, suppliers, and colleagues, and ensure that projects are executed safely, with quality, and within schedule.

You work on diverse new construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for schools, hotels, offices, distribution centers, and real estate managers. Here, you work on electrical and security technical installations within a complex and dynamic environment. Think of maintenance projects, renovations, and security work, including at Schiphol, for which Elsenga has been performing activities for over 30 years.

No two days are the same. One day you are supervising a new construction project for a school in Amsterdam, the next day you are managing a renovation of a hotel, or you are involved in a technically challenging project at Schiphol. Due to the scale and complexity of the projects, you will receive a lot of responsibility and the space to truly become the owner of your projects.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Coordinating utility projects for business customers

• Managing technicians, work preparers, and partners

• Monitoring planning, budget, and quality

• Maintaining contact with customers and suppliers

• Identifying and recording extra and reduced work

• Reporting on progress and financial results

As Electrical Engineering Project Leader, you combine technical insight with overview and structure.

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level towards electrical engineering

• Experience as a project leader within the utility or installation technology sector

• Experience with new construction and renovation projects is a plus

• Organizationally strong and financially aware

• Good communication skills

• Independent and decisive

• Good command of the Dutch language

• Residing in the Hoofddorp region or surrounding area
