Do you have a fresh perspective on installation technology and do you want to realize innovative projects that truly make a difference? Do you enjoy designing distinctive installation concepts and do you know how to inspire others to make these ambitions a reality together? Then we are looking for you as a mechanical engineering technical developer at Dura Vermeer Techniek.
As a mechanical engineering technical developer within the tender team, you are the linchpin in the technical elaboration of complex tenders and construction team developments. You translate client requirements into smart, realizable installation designs in the fields of climate installations, sanitary, and sustainable energy systems. Together with the cost expert and tender manager, you ensure a perfect design that is both technically and financially sound.
With your natural persuasiveness, you take clients along in the technical possibilities and advise them on the best solutions. You have an independent, steering role in the multidisciplinary project team and are the expert in the field of mechanical engineering installations. In addition to developing innovative and energy-efficient concepts, you ensure that your designs are also actually feasible in practice.
Participating in tenders or construction/design teams together with the client and other Dura Vermeer operating companies;
You design or assess the most distinctive mechanical engineering installation design, where your focus lies on HVAC installations, sanitary, fire protection installations, and sustainable energy supplies;
You eliminate technical risks from the project and propose optimizations in the design to make projects feasible and manufacturable;
Determining the principles and the bidding strategy for tenders from your professional discipline. In doing so, you support colleagues in estimation by preparing the budget;
Independently preparing estimates based on minimal project information in order to design in a budget-driven manner;
Advising on sustainable solutions such as heat pumps, heat recovery, WKO systems, and hybrid installation concepts.
Your workplace is at our brand-new, modern office in Utrecht, where we work daily on challenging installation projects in utility construction. You will work in an enthusiastic and driven team of specialists characterized by an enormous motivation for innovation and improvement. Within our team, there is a pleasant, informal working atmosphere in which collegiality, sharing knowledge, and helping each other are a matter of course.
We work according to the principles of integrated design, where short lines, multidisciplinary cooperation, and entrepreneurship are central. Additionally, we invest in your development through education, courses, and knowledge sessions. We also offer a hybrid working model where you have the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
You work closely and integrally with your colleague technical developer electrical engineering, the tender manager, and the structural engineering colleagues. What makes the role special? Together with enthusiastic colleagues, you contribute literally and figuratively to the expansion of Dura Vermeer Techniek. We are curious about your vision and ideas to let this organization grow.
