As Draftsman/Structural Designer Heat, you will work on the expansion and optimization of sustainable heat networks. With your designs, you contribute to projects that make an impact today and prepare the Netherlands for the energy supply of tomorrow. Because when it comes to the energy transition: there is a way.

What will you do?

Within the Heat Project Realization team, you ensure that designs are not only technically correct but also practically feasible. You work closely with engineers, project leaders, contractors, municipalities, and other involved parties to successfully realize sustainable heat projects.

A unique opportunity within this role is that you will actually see your designs reflected in the execution of large-scale infrastructural heat projects. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to the energy transition and the further growth of sustainable heat networks in the Netherlands.

Your duties include

• Preparing and elaborating preliminary, final, and execution designs in AutoCAD.
• Producing technical drawings, detailed designs, and structural elaborations for heat infrastructure.
• Translating technical requirements and design principles into safe and feasible solutions.
• Identifying design bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
• Monitoring the quality, completeness, and manufacturability of designs.
• Coordinating technical designs with project teams, contractors, municipalities, and utility companies.
• Processing revisions and changes during various project phases.
• Supporting permit processes and technical substantiations.
• Contributing to the further development and standardization of design methodologies and working methods.
