As a Senior Tax Advisor Estate Planning at Van Oers, you will work in a large team, of which 4 colleagues, just like you, focus on estate planning. At Van Oers, you work in a people-oriented organization where colleagues look out for one another and where you are given the space to be yourself. Do you want to know what is happening, think ahead, and make a difference together? Then come work at Van Oers and become a Senior Tax Advisor Estate Planning.
As a Senior Tax Advisor Estate Planning, you are the primary substantive point of contact for estate planning within the tax practice in Roosendaal. You advise entrepreneurs, family businesses, and high-net-worth individuals on issues in the field of estate planning. You work together with colleagues within the tax practice, but also with accountants and legal professionals. You make an active contribution to the development of colleagues and to the further growth and positioning of the estate planning practice.
A glimpse of your tasks:
You advise clients on the structuring of private and business assets, family wealth structures, STAKs, family foundations, and privacy and investment structures;
You advise clients on business succession within family businesses, restructurings, and the transfer of enterprises;
You provide tax guidance during the sale of enterprises;
You advise clients on gifts and the transfer of wealth during lifetime, with an eye for tax optimization and family relationships;
You guide clients regarding inheritance tax and estate planning, translating complex tax issues into practical solutions;
You contribute ideas regarding the drafting and assessment of wills, in close cooperation with civil-law notaries and other advisors;
You mentor colleagues in the roles of Tax Advisory Assistant, Junior Tax Advisor, and Tax Advisor;
You identify market developments and use them to provide an advantage for clients.
You are a committed, entrepreneurial, and connecting professional who brings people and ideas together. You dare to make choices, take initiative, and see opportunities to further develop the practice. In doing so, you combine strategic insight with pragmatic execution. You are reflective and organizationally sensitive, and you know how to deal effectively with different interests and dynamics.
Furthermore, we ask:
You have a completed university degree (WO) in Fiscal Economics or Tax Law;
If you have a completed degree in Notarial Law, that is certainly a plus;
You have a completed RB or NOB education;
You have at least 8 years of work experience within estate planning.
With us, you may or rather must ‘just do it’. Saying what you do and doing what you say, that is how we work at Van Oers. We communicate clearly and honestly; we don't blow our own trumpet. Together with colleagues, partners, and clients, we put our shoulders to the wheel.
Furthermore, we offer:
A suitable salary that aligns with your knowledge and relevant work experience for this role;
27 vacation days, which can increase to 32 vacation days the longer you work with us;
Mobility budget where you decide how to use it;
Non-contributory pension with the possibility of tax-advantaged supplementary savings;
Laptop and mobile phone;
Study scheme;
Possibility to work partially from home;
Home office allowance of €2.45 per day;
€1200,- budget from Coolblue to set up your home workspace after completing your probationary period;
A well-developed onboarding process in which you get to know the organization, tasks, and colleagues.
