As an AFAS Payroll Consultant, you are the AFAS specialist for your clients. You combine knowledge of payroll processes with expertise in AFAS. You help organizations not only with correct salary processing, but also with the optimal use of AFAS to set up HR and payroll processes more intelligently, efficiently, and future-proofly.

You manage your own client portfolio and are the primary point of contact for all AFAS-related issues. You advise on the setup, optimization, and functional management of the AFAS environment and translate client wishes into practical solutions within the system. Whether it concerns workflows, HR processes, reporting, alerts, or payroll setup: you know how AFAS helps organizations move forward.

A glimpse of your tasks:

• You analyze client processes and translate these into smart AFAS solutions;

• You guide optimizations, expansions, and implementations within AFAS;

• You perform checks on changes (temporary replacements, schedule changes, contract extensions, parental leave, joining and leaving employment);

• You translate the applicable Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) into the client's practical situation;

• You resolve client questions, specifically in the areas of labor law, social insurance, and wage tax. You can always call upon the knowledge of colleagues within Van Oers;

• You ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding salary processing, taxes, and social security.

You are client-oriented, empathetic, accurate, and integer. Additionally, you are communicatively skilled and work in a solution-oriented manner. If things run slightly differently, you adapt.

Furthermore, we ask:

• You have a completed MBO or HBO education;

• PDL and/or VPS is a plus, or you are willing to obtain these;

• You have experience with AFAS, but if you do not have this yet, do not let that hold you back. We would still love to have a conversation with you.
