Venlo & Roermond

As a Reintegration and Absence Advisor, you make an important contribution to reducing absenteeism and increasing the employability of UPSers. You advise supervisors and managers regarding absence files and guide case managers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of reintegration trajectories.

As a reintegration and absence advisor, you focus on the sustainable employability of all UPS employees. You develop strategies and action plans to guide UPSers as well as possible, while also keeping business interests in view. Together with case managers, employees, and other stakeholders, you work on effective reintegration plans and reintegration processes. In doing so, you follow the guidelines according to the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter) and share knowledge with case managers regarding any developments surrounding this legislation. You also support employees and case managers in the area of vitality & absence-related topics and initiate and stimulate initiatives to prevent absenteeism. You identify trends and pitfalls to provide new advice to increase the sustainable employability of employees. Working at UPS means working hard. You have a full schedule, but you derive a lot of energy from daily contact with candidates and your colleagues.

• You have completed a HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in the field of Human Resource Management.
• You have at least 3 years of HR work experience or work experience in a comparable role, such as a case manager.
• You have knowledge of personal development, labor law, and the Gatekeeper Improvement Act.
• You have knowledge of MS Office and HR/payroll software.
• You have business insight, are integer, accurate, and a true team player.
• You possess good communication skills and speak and write well in Dutch and English.
