Our production hall is running. The first batches are in place, the process is getting tighter by the week, and now it needs a leader to take it to the next level. You don't just manage your team; you monitor the entire system: what goes in, what comes out, and everything in between. That requires authority and oversight, and it means that in a year's time, you can point exactly to what wouldn't have been there without you.
