Do you want to pass on your security experience to the next generation of security professionals?
As a practical instructor, you hold an important role model function. You guide students following the MBO Security Guard 2 or 3 training and help them make the step from theory to practice. You will do this at the Scalda locations in Vlissingen and Goes.
In addition, you look beyond just the assignments that need to be completed. You actively think along about what students need to obtain their diploma, recognize potential obstacles, and take personal circumstances into account where necessary. A role in which your experience in security and your ability to guide others come together.
You take students along during fire and closing rounds and demonstrate in practice how to monitor CCTV, deal with aggressive behavior, and, for example, report theft. You help them to understand and apply practical situations and theory, and to work increasingly independently.
Additionally, you sign off on workbooks and assignments and devise practical situations that students can practice with. From small tasks in the canteen to fully developed cases involving vandalism or a defective alarm installation: you ensure that students learn as much as possible from situations they may encounter later in the security profession.
