For our Amsterdam site, we are looking for a: Warehouse Team Leader / Teamlead Warehouse

About your future job

Your work as a Warehouse Team Leader is very varied. You will have contact with various people throughout the organization, because it is your role to collaborate with project management, planning, production, external transporters, quality, purchasing, etc... and to ensure that the physical goods flow runs flawlessly. You coordinate the logistical activities in the warehouse, managing a small team (5 FTE). You monitor the progress of orders (to customers and production), incoming goods, and ensure an accurate inventory, taking corrective measures where necessary. In case of deviations, you proactively inform the stakeholders. You are the first point of contact for (logistical) escalations and emergencies. You also roll up your sleeves and help out where needed.

The most important tasks are:

• managing/coordinating warehouse activities;
• leading warehouse employees;
• inventory control;
• maintaining work instructions;
• responsible for (managing) maintenance/calibration of measuring instruments and machines;
• (co)developing and implementing new warehouse/transport concepts in an increasingly complex environment;
• reporting and analyzing performance indicators and initiating possible improvements;
• actively participating in cross-functional teams.
