Logistics Team Leader | Goods Inbound | Day Shift

As a logistics team leader for the day shift in the goods inbound department, you will primarily work on our shop floor. Here, you supervise an ongoing process, help your colleagues by answering questions, and anticipate all kinds of ad-hoc problems within the department. In addition, you are responsible for capacity planning and administration, including the employees' worked hours. You also ensure a clear handover of your shift, so that the next shift can quickly pick up the work again. As a deputy team leader, you consult with the other logistics departments within the organization to discuss results and forecasts.

• You supervise the process and ensure the continuity of operations;
• You instruct, guide, and coach (new) employees;
• You oversee compliance with (safety) agreements on the shop floor;
• You ensure a clear shift handover every day;
• You are critical of the work process and work on improvements to it;
• You are administratively strong and process, among other things, the worked hours and create the weekly schedules.
