This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
You have 4 to 6 years of experience in sales, preferably with tenders/RFPs in non-profit, government, or education.
You have demonstrable experience in guiding market consultations and influencing a PvE.
You have an affinity with contracts and legal processes — you are not afraid of terms, liability, and negotiations (plus).
You are a consultative seller: you listen well, ask the right questions, and give sincere advice.
You are relationally strong and prefer building long-term partnerships over quick deals.
You are independent, proactive, and can collaborate well with different teams, including within an enterprise RFP where you team up with other AEs.
You write and speak Dutch well (C1 level) and sense the nuance of formal communication in procurement processes.
In the non-profit, government, and education sectors, everything revolves around impact and trust. The process is structured and proceeds step by step, but tenders are complex and relationships are crucial. About 30% of our commercial inflow comes via tenders and RFPs - and that share is growing. RFPs often come from larger enterprise customers and are prepared and handled in collaboration with other Account Executives.
Many sales people do not sufficiently understand that process. They send standard proposals and hope for the best. We believe it must be different: with real conversations, a deep understanding of procurement dynamics, and an advisor who thinks along during the requirements specification (PvE) process instead of only reacting to a request.
That is why this role exists. You are part of a team of tender specialists who guides market parties from market consultation to tender to win - and who ensures that the contract lands well afterwards.
You will build a strong pipeline of tenders and RFPs at non-profit organizations, municipalities, educational institutions, and enterprise accounts. You win tenders and ensure that Studytube is already on the radar as a thought leader from the market consultation stage onwards.
Specifically, you will be working on:
Early spotting of market consultations (in collaboration with the Tender team) and actively thinking along in the PvE process, so that criteria align with what we can deliver well.
Thought leadership towards procurement officers and policymakers, so that Studytube is already a known and trusted name before the formal tender.
Managing the full tender process: from market consultation, via submission and MEAT (Most Economically Advantageous Tender) substantiation, to award and win.
Preparing and handling RFPs for larger enterprise customers together with other Account Executives, so that expertise and capacity are pooled.
Carefully managing the contract process after award, including coordination with legal regarding terms, liability, and SLAs.
Building and maintaining relationships with training managers, procurement officers, and board members at non-profit organizations, municipalities, and educational institutions.
Collaborating with the sales team, tender team, implementation team, content team, and customer success team to make customers truly successful.
No rigid annual plan, but a dynamic agenda that moves with the tender calendar. One week you are working on a market consultation, the next week you are writing a submission, supporting a fellow AE on an enterprise RFP, or negotiating a contract.
Daily life looks approximately like this:
You follow tender platforms and the market closely and identify opportunities as early as the market consultation phase.
You build quotes and proposals that align with MEAT criteria and public values.
You review and negotiate contract terms, and consult with legal where necessary.
You work together with other Account Executives on RFPs for larger enterprise customers.
You work together with internal teams so that the customer receives the best experience - from tender to implementation.
You monitor your pipeline, adjust accordingly, and ensure your targets are realistic yet ambitious.
We are not looking for a standard sales profile. We are looking for someone who sees tenders and RFPs as a professional field, not a side task.
What is important:
Market-conform salary (mid-level) with good secondary benefits
€1,000 personal development budget per year + unlimited access to the Studytube Academy
Flexible working and an inspiring office on the IJ with its own gym
25 vacation days + an extra day on your birthday
MacBook, phone allowance, and daily catered lunch
A team that truly believes in what we do and where you can make an impact quickly
We make professional development accessible, fun, and effective. With more than 300 customers, including many non-profit organizations and well-known names like Bol.com, ASR, and Ajax, we are growing fast. Our goal is clear: to become Europe's best platform for learning and development.
