Do you want a broad commercial role in which you are personally responsible for acquiring new customers and further expanding existing customer relationships? As an Account Executive at Brenger, you will guide the entire commercial process: from the first contact with a potential customer to the structural use of Brenger.
At Brenger, we work on a smarter and more sustainable way of transport. Our platform utilizes empty space in the vans of professional couriers to transport large items efficiently and affordably. This allows customers to save on transport costs, enables couriers to earn more on routes they are already driving, and reduces unnecessary CO₂ emissions.
Our relevant business market in the Netherlands consists of approximately 2,500 retailers. This makes the commercial challenge manageable and interesting: you are not just one of many Account Executives processing a large volume of leads, but you are a leader, given plenty of room to determine for yourself where the best opportunities lie, which customers we approach, and how we subsequently allow them to grow further. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on new business and 30% on further expanding existing accounts and improving our commercial approach.
You will work closely with Wisse (co-founder) and other colleagues within the Growth team. It is a small team where you personally approach customers, close deals, and further expand accounts. If the commercial team grows later, you may also have the opportunity to hire and coach new colleagues.
You actively approach potential business customers via telephone, email, and LinkedIn, largely based on leads from our outbound lead generator.
You qualify prospects and independently conduct discovery calls, demos, and commercial follow-up appointments.
You manage the entire sales process: from the first contact and a potential pilot to conversion and recurring use.
You guide new customers during their first 10-20 transports and investigate what is needed to move from an initial booking to structural use.
You maintain relationships with our most important business customers and look for opportunities to further expand the collaboration.
You investigate why customers book more, less, or no longer, and link this to concrete commercial actions.
You use sales funnel and customer data to determine where opportunities lie and how we can improve our targeting, prioritization, and follow-up.
You continuously gather feedback from customers and share it with the team to further improve our product and approach.
You keep your funnel, goals, and customer information carefully and up-to-date in HubSpot.
Does it appeal to you to make a real difference and help build our mission to fill every courier van as efficiently as possible? Then apply to Brenger! Do you have any questions? Feel free to contact Julie Scheffers via julie@brenger.nl.
Are you doubting whether you meet all the requirements? Don't worry! Research shows that people from underrepresented groups often apply less frequently if they do not meet every single criterion. At Brenger, we find diversity and different perspectives specifically valuable. Even if your profile does not perfectly align, we encourage you to apply!
