Echocardiographer

As a cardiac function technician, you will have an independent and varied role within our hospital. You will perform cardiac function examinations using modern, high-quality equipment, thereby making an important contribution to the diagnostics and treatment of our patients.

In this position, the emphasis lies on echocardiography and ambulatory ECG monitoring. You perform echocardiographic examinations, assess the examination data, and ensure clear reporting. Additionally, you analyze and interpret ambulatory ECG recordings and discuss your findings with the cardiologists. You work carefully, are patient-oriented, and know how to combine technical expertise with good communication.

You also actively participate in thinking about developments within the field and contribute to the further professionalization of our organization and services.

Within this position, you will primarily focus on:

• independently performing echocardiographic examinations, including 3D imaging and measurements;

• analyzing and interpreting ambulatory ECG recordings;

• discussing examination findings with cardiologists;

• carefully recording examination results in Epic and the GE echo equipment;

• identifying developments within the field and translating these into daily practice;

• providing an active contribution to the quality and further development of the functional department.

We are looking for a cardiac function technician who can work independently, values quality, and is eager to further develop within echo and Holter. You are accurate, patient-oriented, and feel at home in an environment where technology, diagnostics, and personal contact come together.

• You possess a recognized HBO diploma as a Cardiac Function Technician with an outflow in Echocardiography (or retrograde recognition);

• A completed specialization in ambulatory ECG monitoring is a plus.

• You bring relevant work experience with you.

• The ability to perform examinations independently and communicate findings clearly;

• A careful way of working and an eye for quality;

• An active attitude in thinking along about improvements and developments within the field;

• Good collaboration skills towards colleagues, cardiologists, and other involved specialties.
