Gas and Water Technician

As a Gas and Water Technician at Siers Groep, you are the specialist responsible for performing installation and maintenance work in the field of gas and water distribution. You work on projects that contribute to a safe and reliable infrastructure for our customers. You determine the approach and planning yourself within the set frameworks of the work map, your supervisor, and the client.

Thanks to your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, you make every project a success. You proactively identify any problems, advise your team on solutions, and ensure that you work closely with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers. Working independently and taking responsibility for your work are second nature to you, and you always strive for improvement and professionalization in your trade.

At Siers, you get the chance to grow and further develop your skills. We offer you the opportunity to follow training to become a PE welder and to obtain the certificate for hygienic working in water distribution.

• Performing specialist installation and maintenance work for gas and water distribution;

• Independently determining the approach and planning within set frameworks and guidelines;

• Proactively identifying problems and proposing solutions within the execution team;

• Working closely with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers for a successful execution of the projects;

• Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all safety regulations.

Are you a subject matter expert with broad knowledge of gas and water installations and a creative approach to the execution of your work? Then you fit perfectly within our team! What we ask of you:

• A completed MBO-3 education. An assessment may be part of the application procedure;

• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

• Required safety diplomas (VCA and BEI/VIAG/VEWA);

• Driver's license B.

• An employment of at least 32 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week with a good and appropriate salary;

• A one-year contract with a view to a permanent position;

• 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days on a full-time basis, so that you have sufficient time to relax or go on holiday;

• Your own work van equipped with all necessary materials and tools;
