Nice to have

To be successful as a Sample Registry Clerk at SGS, experience in a similar position and knowledge of microbiology or chemistry will come in handy, but we do not consider this the most important thing. Work experience in hospitality or retail is also a good foundation for us.

The role

This is not a boring office job; you will easily walk 10,000 steps per day here!

You will be working in the sample reception department of the SGS Health & Nutrition Laboratory in Spijkenisse. The atmosphere in this department is dynamic. Every day, food samples arrive at your department and you receive them. You check the samples you accept and register everything in the laboratory information system.

As a Sample Registry Clerk, you will have a lot of contact via email or telephone with clients and SGS offices in the Netherlands and abroad. You check and process customer data and handle other administrative tasks.

How you'll work

The position is for 24 hours per week, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday as fixed working days. 32 hours per week is also negotiable.
