NDO Project Coordinator

SGS Nederland B.V. consists of five business lines. Within SGS Industries & Environment, we perform various technical inspections on industrial equipment.

Our NDO department focuses on non-destructive testing of technical installations. Think of above-ground storage tanks, pipelines, new construction projects, and inspections during plant shutdowns. Our specialists investigate, among other things, critical weld joints and check structures, plates, and piping for wall thickness reduction.

We work for clients within, among others, petrochemistry, offshore, civil engineering, pipeline construction, storage terminals, and industry.

As NDO Project Coordinator, you are responsible for the coordination of projects at one of our clients. You are the connecting link between the client, our NDO inspectors, technical experts, planning, and back- and front-office.

You ensure that projects run smoothly, agreements are met, and that quality and safety always come first. The projects are very diverse: from assignments lasting a few weeks to long-term projects that can run for several years.

Your duties

• You plan and organize NDO projects from start to finish.
• For long-term assignments, you are responsible for the service delivery at the client's location, in accordance with the contractual agreements made.
• You maintain contact with clients and ensure that their wishes and requirements are well translated into the execution.
• You manage a team of NDO inspectors and guide them during the project.
• You monitor the planning, progress, quality, and agreements made.
• When necessary, you make adjustments in consultation with SGS management and central planning.
• You ensure that the administrative side of the project is well organized.

You have extensive experience within NDO and know what is required to perform work safely and with high quality. At the same time, you enjoy maintaining an overview, managing colleagues, and maintaining contact with clients.

Additionally:

• You have experience as an all-round NDO inspector and are ready for the next step, or you already have experience as a (project) coordinator.
• You are certified in the methods RT, UT, MT, and PT. Experience with film reading is a plus.
• You communicate easily with both clients and colleagues.
• Do you have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• You can plan, organize, and set priorities well.
• You work proactively and customer-oriented.
• You also maintain a good overview under pressure.
• You are administratively strong.
• You are flexible and willing to go the extra mile where necessary.

• A gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €5,900 based on a 40-hour work week. The exact grading is dependent on your education, knowledge, and experience.
