Warehouse Returns Clerk

As a Returns Clerk, you combine practical warehouse work with administration. You receive and assess returned shipments, process them in our systems, and ensure goods move on to the right place. In short: you prevent a return from cycling around endlessly.

• Your workday is nicely varied. One minute you are checking a returned shipment, the next you are behind the computer to process everything correctly. You are also flexible in tasks and the rotation of your activities; if it is quiet, you may perform all-round warehouse assignments. You will be busy with, among other things:
• Receiving, checking, and assessing returned goods.
• Checking whether quantities, goods, and documents match.
• Processing B2C returns, RMAs, and other receipts.
• Registering goods and return information in JDE and the administrative processing of outgoing return shipments.
• Forwarding goods and claims that require extra assessment to the Service Center.
• Answering and following up on emails and scanning and archiving documents.
• Preparing and shipping goods, including manual orders from the workshop.
• Helping with practical matters within the team, such as the management of loan bikes, lockers, and scanners.
• Activities involving bicycles for the purpose of photography and shows.

You really do not need to know every part of a bike by heart. We are primarily looking for someone who works carefully, takes responsibility, and likes to ensure that things are well organized.

• You work accurately and notice when something is not right.
• You can work independently, but also enjoy working together with colleagues.
• You are handy with computers and quickly master new systems.
• You can work well with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• You have sufficient command of Dutch and English to communicate pleasantly and process administration.

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment.
• Experience with returns, goods receipt, or an ERP/warehouse management system.
• Knowledge of JDE.
• Experience with an EPT, forklift, and/or reach truck.

You will work in the Trek distribution center, right in the middle of the logistics operation surrounding bicycles and bicycle parts. Within Returns, you will work together with colleagues from the warehouse and with other involved departments. Together, you ensure that return flows are handled neatly, quickly, and correctly.

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturday, between 06:00 and 20:00. Your actual working hours will be determined in advance according to the applicable roster.
