The role
Nice to know (you)
- As Infrastructure Risk Manager, you will work on unique and complex civil engineering projects in the dynamic and challenging environment of Schiphol Airport.
- With your commitment and expertise, you will professionalize risk management within Portfolio Delivery and help projects realize their objectives in a predictable, effective, and efficient manner.

Connecting your world
As Risk Manager, you are an indispensable link in the successful realization of projects. In this way, you connect the Netherlands to the rest of the world. How you ensure this? That is up to you. We rely on the way
you work, based on a certain sense of calm, order, and discipline. You will apply your talents to:
- setting up and guiding the risk management process within projects, making risks and control measures transparent and manageable, and keeping the risk register up to date.
- stimulating a risk-aware culture in which opportunities and threats are discussed openly, and ownership is taken for control.
- providing risk management data for, among other things, project reports, decision-making, and documents such as project initiation and tender documents.
- actively contributing to risk management within the department, such as policy development, knowledge sharing, providing training, and collaborating with staff and operational departments in the field of risk.
Depending on your knowledge, experience, and your personal interests and ambition, you will be deployed to one or more specific - and civil engineering - projects at Schiphol airport.
