The role

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist Indirect Services, you are responsible for the (European) tendering of services that are in direct contact with our passengers and for the Schiphol group, such as employees. Together with the business, you align needs and guide the tendering process from A to Z. And how you approach this? That is up to you. We trust in the way you can work with concentration and attention. You will apply your talents to:

What you'll do

consulting the market and developing market knowledge within your own category. You provide input for creating and developing category plans.
drafting and executing single and multiple private tenders.
working independently on European tenders and providing support for complex tenders if necessary.
ensuring sustainable relationships with your suppliers, which you shape and define together with the contract manager and business owner. We collaborate with our suppliers on the basis of equality, a common goal, and a win-win basis.

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist Indirect Services, you form the link between Schiphol's departments and the supplier market. You are a partner for discussion at various levels and know how to convince and "challenge" through your persistent personality and strong communication skills. In doing so, you also pay attention to the long-term relationship. You select suppliers and conclude contracts that contribute maximally to the "Top Performance Indicators" and our objectives throughout their entire duration. Think of a European tender for MSP services or workwear, but there are also plenty of challenges to grow into within Workplace management.
