What we're looking for
A completed HBO or WO degree in Finance, Business Economics, Economics, Accountancy, or a similar field.
Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, or you are a strong starter with relevant internship or work experience.
Strong analytical skills and an affinity for financial analysis.
Good knowledge of Excel and an interest in financial models and reporting.
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
A proactive, accurate, and eager-to-learn attitude.
The ambition to develop yourself broadly within Finance.
The role
At Rivoir, you will develop into a broad finance professional who understands how financial administration, project finance, and investments converge within complex infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
You support Project Finance Managers with the financial performance of one or more concession projects.
You maintain and analyze financial project models.
You work on budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
You prepare reports for shareholders, banks, management, and other stakeholders.
You support financing issues, business cases, and investment analyses.
You contribute to the financial administration and work on monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
You support management reporting, audit activities, annual accounts, tax activities, and compliance.
You identify financial deviations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
You actively contribute to improving and standardizing financial processes, governance, and reporting.
What does this role look like?
At Rivoir, you will learn how finance truly contributes to successful infrastructure projects. Therefore, the Finance Analyst role combines two disciplines. You will develop within both Project Finance and Financial Control and discover how financial administration, project finance, governance, investments, and reporting come together within a single project environment.
As a Finance Analyst, you will contribute to the financial performance of some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and Europe. At the same time, you will contribute to the Financial Control of our own organization.
You will analyze financial information, contribute to reports and models, and support financial and strategic issues. In doing so, you will learn not only how figures are generated, but especially how financial choices contribute to healthy, predictable, and future-proof projects.
This position is an excellent next step for Financial Analysts, Assistant Controllers, and Junior Controllers who want to develop broadly within Finance.
Within Project Finance, you will support the financial performance of long-term infrastructure and concession projects. You will work on financial models, budgets, forecasts, reports, business cases, and financing issues.
Within Financial Control, you will contribute to reliable financial administration and reporting for Rivoir. You will support, among other things, closings, audits, annual accounts, compliance, and the improvement of financial processes.
You will work closely with Project Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Investment Managers, Business Managers, and Asset Managers. As you grow in knowledge, independence, and ownership, you will receive increasing responsibility.
No two days are the same. One day you might analyze a financial model or support a business case. The next day you might work on a quarterly report, forecast, audit, or year-end closing.
This way, you will develop a broad financial foundation step by step and can grow towards becoming a Project Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
Do you recognize yourself?
You are analytically strong and curious about the story behind the numbers. You work accurately, like to take initiative, and want to understand how different financial disciplines are interconnected.
You enjoy working with various colleagues and stakeholders and are not afraid to ask questions. You want to continue developing yourself and gain energy from an environment where you can take on increasing responsibility.
In addition, you possess:
Experience with Project Finance, DBFM(O), PPP, or infrastructure projects is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. If you bring the right financial foundation and curiosity, we will be happy to teach you the rest.
Why work at Rivoir?
At Rivoir, you get the chance to develop yourself broadly within Finance. You will not only work on financial administration and reporting, but also gain insight into project financing, governance, investments, and strategic decision-making.
As a result, you will build a combination of knowledge and experience that is hard to find at many organizations.
You will receive responsibility from the start and work closely with experienced colleagues and various disciplines. Additionally, we invest heavily in your development through the Rivoir Academy, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
In this way, we are not only building infrastructure, but also your career.

A broad finance role with plenty of variety and responsibility.
Intensive guidance and collaboration with experienced colleagues.
Plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself through the Rivoir Academy.
