Medior Legal Consultant

• A completed HBO or WO degree in law.
• 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience, in the financial sector
• Knowledge of financial law; such as Wft/Wwft.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Result-oriented, proactive, flexible, eager to learn, and pragmatic.
• The ability to identify opportunities and develop a good network.

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

What are you going to do?

• As a (Medior) Legal Consultant, you help financial institutions – from established parties to new (inter)national entrants – to remain compliant with laws and regulations, such as the Wft and Wwft.
• You are a member of the editorial team of Ruler, our Legal Watch & Compliance tool.
• You help financial institutions to fully understand the impact of new laws and regulations, and to remain in control of regulatory change.
• You offer clients pragmatic advice and simple solutions and support financial institutions on an interim or ongoing basis.
• You support clients in contact with regulators, such as during investigations, information requests, or thematic reviews.
• You work independently and in a team with talented colleagues, where knowledge sharing and collaboration are central.
• You are actively involved with different types of financial institutions and thus build up broad knowledge of their activities, processes, documentation, and relevant legislation.
• You contribute to the further development of our services.
