At Northwave, more than 275 passionate cybersecurity specialists work on groundbreaking security that moves organizations forward. From our headquarters in Utrecht and offices in Germany, Sweden, and Belgium, we combine ethical hacking with behavioral psychology and security management at the highest level. We don't just react to threats, we anticipate them, with 24/7 managed security services and tailored solutions for every client. At Northwave, you get the chance to shape the future of digital security and make a real societal impact.
As a Security Operations Manager (SOM), you ensure that clients can rely on their SOC. You monitor the quality of our SOC services and ensure that monitoring aligns with the IT risks and threats that are truly relevant to that client. At the client, you represent Northwave; within Northwave, you represent the client.
You build trust-based relationships with multiple clients and maintain an overview of their SOC service delivery. You look at the role of monitoring within the broader security landscape, identify changes in the client's environment, and adjust where necessary.
You interact with people at all levels, from system administrators to C-level. Your strength: you make complex information clear and understandable, thereby gaining trust.
Additionally:
You discuss monthly results with your clients, through reports and evaluation meetings
You contribute ideas for improvements in our service delivery
You identify new opportunities with clients and assist in implementation or change processes within the SOC
Then we still invite you to apply. We look at what you can do, how you work, and what you want to learn, not just at a checklist. Tell us what makes you suitable for this role at Northwave, where professionalism and job satisfaction go hand in hand, and apply directly.
You are part of the international Security Operations Managers team within the SOC. Your colleagues come from the Netherlands, Germany, and other regions, and have diverse technical and commercial backgrounds. What connects you: the goal to make clients truly more secure.
You are given the space to organize your own work and take initiative for improvements. Colleagues share knowledge, think together, and help each other grow. Open, pleasant collaboration is the norm here.
