The accredited laboratories of Eurofins Environment offer an extensive package of chemical, physical, and biological analyses in all environmental matrices in the Netherlands. Through years of experience, they possess extensive knowledge in the field of both routine analyses and non-standard analyses, including analyses of special compounds and micropollutants. Eurofins is a market leader in the field of specialist research; clients include water quality managers, Rijkswaterstaat, provincial and municipal governments, environmental consultancy firms, industry, and contractors. Approximately 700 motivated experts manage the process from sampling to the digital reporting of the analysis results. Analyses primarily take place in the large laboratories in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) and Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico).

This varied position will be fulfilled in a day shift starting between 7:00 and 8:00 and mostly finishing between 16:00 and 17:00 . You will be working within the inorganic department where environmental analyses are performed on water and soil samples.

You perform operations for the purpose of pre-treating sample material and you perform analytical activities on, among others, Ion Chromatographs, discrete analyzers, and flow analyzers. This includes:

• Applying various techniques using different equipment such that the samples are pre-treated and can be measured;
• Dealing responsibly with the resources used, such that: attention is paid to your own safety and that of others in the laboratory;
• Ensuring that the equipment is used in the correct manner and that problem situations are presented to your supervisor;
• Timely signaling of maintenance needs for measuring equipment.
• Ensuring with your colleagues that the production of samples is carried out with good quality and that the analyses can continue to run without problems;
• Ensuring with your colleagues that the results are reported in a timely manner.
