Demand from clients is growing, and therefore we are looking for a project manager for flood protection who not only leads projects but also contributes to setting up the team, attracting colleagues, and strengthening our position in the market.

As a project manager for flood protection, you will work on the design, assessment, and realization of flood protection tasks in the Netherlands. You will manage projects and teams, advise clients, and monitor quality, planning, and costs.

What you will do as a Project Manager Flood Protection employee

You will work on flood protection projects in all phases: from design and assessment to realization and field supervision. Think of assessing and reinforcing regional and primary barriers, developing reinforcement strategies, and flood protection solutions for structures and renovations. 

You are joining at a moment when flood protection is being built up at Nepocon. In addition to leading projects, you will contribute ideas regarding the organization and growth of the team and help further position the professional field. Perhaps you see yourself growing into a branch manager in the future?

• You lead projects from the opportunity phase to delivery and manage scope, risks, planning, and quality

• You provide technical-substantive direction to design and project teams

• You coordinate with disciplines such as geotechnics, construction, hydrology, and execution

• You advise clients on both content and process

• You identify opportunities, contribute to acquisition, and build client relationships

• You contribute to knowledge sharing, coaching, and building the flood protection team

• You develop towards a team lead or subject matter expert role within the branch
