In their own words
About the company & team
You translate the hacker mindset into concrete security tests to achieve results with the teams.
Make a difference by providing your contribution to the world of sustainable mobility.
You will join a team that welcomes you with open arms!
"Our simulations are realistic, advanced, and based on current threats. That is why we deploy experienced specialists who translate the latest attack techniques into lifelike scenarios. This way, we do not train for theory, but for real attacks"— Rutger Flohil (Red teamer)
As a Red Teamer at NS, you investigate how an attacker would move through our landscape. As one of the twelve members of the offensive security team, you will not only work on realistic Red Team operations, but also share knowledge, techniques, and insights with colleagues from other offensive security disciplines. In this way, we strengthen the digital resilience of NS together.
The added value of our Red Team operations has since been amply proven. In combination with the extensive physical and digital landscape of NS, this is our reason to expand the team with a fourth Red Teamer.
We are looking for an experienced specialist who follows current threats, investigates new attack paths, and helps further strengthen the resilience of our IT landscape.
Do you know how to combine technical expertise, creativity, and social skills to discover vulnerabilities that others overlook? Then we would love to meet you.
As a Red Teamer at NS, you work at the intersection of technology, collaboration, and innovation. We start the day together, digitally or on-site, to exchange knowledge, coordinate ongoing investigations, and sharpen attack paths.
One week you investigate a complex cloud environment for privilege escalation possibilities, the next week you simulate an advanced attacker via phishing, social engineering, or misconfigurations. You validate vulnerabilities, document findings, and advise on appropriate measures.
We perform assessments according to the four-eyes principle: you regularly team up with colleagues to share knowledge, test findings, and look beyond the obvious attack paths.
Curiosity drives us. We follow new developments within offensive security, develop tooling, share knowledge internally, and present regularly both within and outside NS. This way, we continue to develop ourselves and make NS a little bit safer every day.
