• A salary of €3,159 to €5,507 gross per month (scale 59) (based on 36 hours - grading is based on work experience).

As a Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Engineer, you will contribute to a secure, reliable, and future-proof M365 platform. You will translate security and data security policies into concrete technical measures and ensure that agreements from projects are actually implemented in the platform. In doing so, your focus lies on Endpoint Security & Compliance within Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.

• You will work on the digital workplace used daily by thousands of NS colleagues, thereby having a direct impact on the organization.
• You will play an important role in the further professionalization of the M365 platform, with a clear focus on Endpoint Security & Compliance.

Thanks to your knowledge of the M365 platform and experience with security and compliance, you will be of invaluable importance in:

• Configuring, managing, and further developing Microsoft Defender, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Configuring and managing Microsoft Purview and translating data security policies into technical measures.
• Keeping the Defender for Endpoint configuration up to date according to current security benchmarks.
• Professionalizing and further developing Exchange Online.
• Representing M365 within projects and translating agreements made into concrete actions within the platform.
• Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders regarding changes that affect multiple parts of the organization.
• Contributing to the continuity of the M365 platform and providing support for operational issues.
