This is what you will be doing as...

You work at the moments required to let the bicycle parking function optimally. This way, you remain closely involved with your team and ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You lead a team of bicycle mechanics and service employees who perform various tasks: from bicycle repairs to helping travelers with checking in and out. You actively project your passion for hospitality and inspire your team to offer every traveler the best service.

As location manager, you are there for your team. You answer questions, offer support, and provide structure on the work floor. You are busy with creating schedules, monitoring stock, and maintaining reports on, among other things, hours worked, conversations, and absenteeism. Due to the size of the team, you also actively participate in the operation yourself and know exactly what is happening at the location.

You celebrate successes together with your team and create a positive and engaged working atmosphere. You are hands-on, make independent decisions in challenging situations, and ensure a good balance between daily management and the development of your employees. In this way, you help your team grow and make a difference for travelers every single day.

We are looking for a new colleague for 38 hours per week.

You will become the location manager of the bicycle parking in Den Bosch (temporarily in combination with the HUB location in Heeze). You will work at both locations and are responsible for good daily operations. Because you travel regularly between the locations, you must be willing to work on the go, for example while traveling by train.

Monday to Thursday: 05:10 - 01:20
Friday: 05:10 - 01:55
Saturday: 05:45 - 01:55
Sunday: 06:45 - 01:20

Due to the extensive opening hours, our new location manager is flexibly deployable in the morning, afternoon, and evening during the week. In principle, you will mainly work day shifts, but in case of emergencies or busy periods, you are also willing to assist during evening hours or on weekends. You have control over the schedule, but you also step in yourself at moments when your involvement is needed to ensure the parking facility functions optimally.

Please note! This position involves managing an A-location and a second location. Therefore, we consider demonstrable leadership experience and sufficient relevant work experience to be important. We will not process applications without a CV.

As a leader, you strive for the best experience for the travelers and you know how to make your employees enthusiastic about it too. You can manage different target groups appropriately and switch easily between tasks and communication styles.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following points:

• You have at least an MBO work/thinking level.
• You have experience in leadership.
• You have an affinity or experience with coaching employees with a
  distance to the labor market.
• You have good communication skills and a good command of the Dutch language.
• Having experience with scheduling and inventory systems is a plus.

• A starting salary of € 3,488 gross per month based on 38 hours (from age 21) and you can grow during your career to a salary of max. € 3,987 gross per month based on scale H from the MVT collective labor agreement.
• 35% allowance for working irregular hours such as on weekends, at night, or on public holidays.
• 25 vacation days on a full-time basis (38 hours).
• 8% holiday allowance.
• Pension accrual (from age 18).
• Travel allowance for commuting 0.21ct per km, from 10 km living distance from the work location.
• A bicycle plan.
